Viewing your presentation analytics

You can view stats for your presentation by clicking the Analytics button in the main header menu of the Pitchdeck plugin, which will open up the analytics panel for the presentation uploaded to the Pitchdeck Web App from the current Figma page.

Refreshing your presentation data. Clicking on the Refresh icon button in the top left of the Analytics panel will refresh all of your analytics data for the current presentation.

There are a few tabs you can click through to manage and view your analytics; Overview, Activity, Views and Duration:

“Overview” Tab

The Overview tab contains a quick summary and key metrics from your presentation analytics:

  • Last Presentation Activity
  • Total Presentation Opens
  • Unique Presentation Visitors
  • Average Presentation Completion Rate %
  • Total Slide Views
  • Total Time Viewed
  • Average Slides Viewed Per Visit
  • Average Total Duration Per Visit

This tab also also allows you to create and view custom share links for your presentation.

“Activity” Tab

The Activity tab provides a complete overview of all link views and slide interactions with your presentation. You’ll be able to see a list (from newest to oldest) of every time someone has opened your presentation, what slides they interacted with, and for how long.

  • Share Link
  • Opened
  • Location
  • Device/OS/Browser
  • Total Slide Views
  • Total Time Spent
  • Completion Rate %

Clicking on any session row will expand it with more details to reveal exactly which slides were viewed, in the order they were viewed in, and for how long. Clicking on the thumbnail for any slide will also zoom and scroll to that slide on your Figma canvas.

Downloading your sessions to a CSV. You can instantly download the sessions you’re viewing on the Activity tab to a .csv file by clicking the Download CSV button in the top/right of the tab.

“Views” Tab

The Views tab displays a bar chart of the total views per slide number, which gives a quick high-level overview of which slides have been viewed the most.

Downloading your views chart to a JPG. You can instantly download the chart as it currently appears on the Views tab to a .jpg file by clicking the Download Chart button in the top/right of the tab.

“Durations” Tab

The Durations tab displays a line chart of the total time spent per slide number, which gives a quick high-level overview of which slides have been viewed for the longest and shorest amounts of time.

Downloading your views chart to a JPG. You can instantly download the chart as it currently appears on the Durations tab to a .jpg file by clicking the Download Chart button in the top/right of the tab.

Filtering your analytics data

You can easily filter the data showing in across all tabs in the Analyics panel by adjusting the options and toggles in the top menu bar of the Analyics panel.

Filtering by share link allows you to only show data from a certain link at once; this lets you quickly isolate statistics for a certain viewer or link. To change the share link filter option, click on the dropdown select menu at the top of the Analyics panel.

Filter by time period

Filtering by time period allows you restrict the data to certain windows of time:

  • All Time (since the first view your presentation received)
  • Last 24 Hours
  • Last 7 Days
  • Last 14 Days
  • Last 30 Days
  • Last 90 Days

To change the time period filter option, click on the dropdown select menu at the top of the Analyics panel.

Excluding your own views

By default, any views from yourself (eg. you’ve opened a Pitchdeck link to the current presentation in the browser on your own computer) will be included in the analytics data; you can optionally enable the Exclude Your Views* toggle, which will exclude any link views that you’ve made on this computer.
